Key Responsibilities:

Litigation and Dispute Resolution: The candidate is expected to play a strategic role in the Company’s dispute resolution and litigation management. This would involve working with the business teams when a dispute is identified, provide strategic guidance to de-escalate and resolve the disputes, take appropriate civil /criminal action where necessary. In addition, the role would involve issuing / responding to notices, engaging and working with external lawyers.

Customer Management: Respond and redress customer complaints that are escalated by operations. Handle consumer cases Pan India.

Operational Support: Assist stores in handling legal issues such as shop lifting, theft, police complaints, employee issues etc.

Experience in handling Intellectual Property related matters would be an advantage but is not the core requirement.
