Assistant Buyer - Footwear

· Research on current fashion via online hits on benchmarked brand, surveys and fashion gatherings

· Ensures that merchandising team released the PO (Purchase Order) on time, to maintain OTIF (On Time In Fulfilment).

· Undertakes timely release of ITP (Intent to Purchase) with accuracy. 

· Assists the seniors in vendor meetings to negotiate with the vendor/conducts vendor meetings by self and seeks approval from the seniors on the decision points. 

· Assists the seniors in phasing / delivery of orders (season-wise) as per the OTB budget.

· Follows-up & updates the range planner / PLM for the season on a continuous basis. 

· Takes the initiative to undertake sampling & researching to provide inputs to develop and innovate new products as per the story / theme / concept 

· Follows up on sampling process as per the critical path, tech packs & trends given.

· Updates the range planner / PLM for the season and follows-up with seniors on the same, on a continuous basis. 

· Takes the initiative to undertake sampling & researching to provide inputs to develop and innovate new products as per the story / theme / concept

· Follows-up on the fit checks and sealing of the samples with the vendors on a continuous basis.

· Provides correct product information for the month to VM team to help build the wall & fixture and store space.

· Visits stores/Comp Shops to ensure customer delight, to understand new trends & competitors product mix
